Desk and Desktop Pages

Friday, March 17th, 2006

I’ve added two new pages, one for nice photographs of my desk/workstation, and the other for screenshots of my desktop each month (or whenever I change themes) :)

Messenger Plus! Live

Monday, March 13th, 2006

It’s been a while, but Patchou has finally released Beta 1 of the new Messenger Plus! for Windows® Live™ Messenger :D

A new interface, logo and many new features are present in this beta, although there are a few disabled ones. I’ve found a load of bugs, but they don’t distract from the fun of using MP!L at all! :)

A lot of people say that the WLM interface is nasty, but once I’ve colorized it to match my current desktop theme, it looks really nice; much nicer than my old MSN Messenger 7.5 skin did.

Nice work Patchou, keep it up! :D

L33TSig 1.0 Released!

Saturday, March 11th, 2006

L33TSig hit 1,000,000 (1 million) hits a few minutes ago, and as promised, I have now released version 1.0 of the client :)

Release Thread | Download L33TSig

A few new features are being thought about for 1.1 or 2.0, whatever I decide to call the next major new release, but I won’t say much until that gets closer :P

Enjoy! :)

March Updates

Wednesday, March 8th, 2006

It’s been ages since I posted on here, so I thought I’d just tell everyone what’s been happening for the past month :)

L33TSig is doing very well, with about 930,000 hits as I’m writing this, and I predict it will hit 1 million before the end of the week too. I’m hoping to release Version 1.0 of the client once 1 million hits has been reached. A new website and forum template has been released now, which helps make it look more exciting :P

Unfortunately the ViewSonic VX912 that I purchased last month has developed a dead pixel, and I’ve just contacted the ViewSonic tech support about that (and an odd white/blue fading thing while viewing darker colors) 10 minutes ago, so hopefully that’ll be sorted within a week or two :)

I’ve upgraded my flight control system last week, from an old Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold to a top of the line Saitek X52, which features numerous hat switches, rotary controls, triggers, sliders, a small lcd display, and even lights on the buttons for night-flying :D

I also bought F.E.A.R. at the same time as my X52, and I completed it in about 4 hours :) It’s a very good game, much better than Far Cry or Doom3, and just as good as Half Life 2. If you have a computer similar to mine, I highly recommend buying it, as it plays nicely, although it would have been better with a faster CPU…
Play the game in a darkened room at night for a really scary experience :P

Just a quick note that iPod earphones seem to be machine-washable and even machine-dryable, as mine were in my trouser pockets and were washed and dried… and they still work! :D
So if your’s are dirty you could try this… They were washed at 40C if you actually do wan’t to try it. Just don’t blame me if they break! :P

Apart from that, the world hasn’t ended (yet), and life continues to go on… ;)
